Esau Harris is a non-denominational Pastor, husband, father and educator to the body of Christ. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. His mother, although a single parent, raised him with a firm hand but much love and with God at the helm of her life. At the age of 14, he committed his life to the Lord and immediately began to excel in learning the scriptures. He answered the call to ministry at the tender age of 17 and delivered his initial sermon in November of 1981.
In February of 1988, he met Tina M. Boone. In her he found a life partner and on May 13, 1989 they were united in holy matrimony. To this union, God miraculously blessed them with two daughters, Eilanie (La) & Karesa (Kay).
He held many positions in the church, including, but not limited to, Pastoral Care of Evangelism, Outreach and Shelter ministries at Christ Church International under the leadership of the late Bishop Joseph Nathaniel Williams. In addition to his Pastoral Care duties, he also served as instructor at the Berean Bible Institute as well as Adjutant to the Bishop. He continues to be an avid researcher, dynamic preacher, and illustrative teacher of the Word of God. His presentation of scriptures is easy for all in attendance to understand.
Esau served as Sr. Pastor of Rehoboth Worship Center, later named Restoration Life Christian Center, from 1999 to 2020. Currently, he has begun a new journey with a ministry called “The Chop Shop.” The purpose of the Chop Shop is to provide a place of conversation, safety and healing for men, women & children.
He and his wife’s personal mission for the next level in ministry is to reach the hurting and wounded, teach the love of Christ, build relationships with God and send disciples to evangelize the nation.
Lady Tina Harris heard the voice of the Lord at an early age and received Him as Lord and Savior of her life. She knew that the Lord had a plan for her life. As God began to orchestrate and move, she began to feel the stretching of growth that separated her from the youth of her day. Though she did not always understand what the Lord was producing in her, she always heard the voice of her mother saying “dare to be different”.
Tina felt it necessary to further her knowledge of Christ. She attended United Christian College and the Berean Bible Institute. She is an avid studier of God’s word and can be found reading and researching when everyone else is sleeping. One of her favorite scriptures is taken from Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me!!" One of her favorite topics is “Love”!
Although she has been in church all of her natural life, she never grows tired of experiencing the move of God. Her focus in ministry is to worship Christ, gain more knowledge of Him and empower others to love Him and find the same liberty she has found in Christ.
